It has been rumoured that Dane Rudy Markussen might meet Brian Magee for the Belfast man's WBA super-middleweight Interim title.
This proposed clash of veterans will not now happen due to Magee's 'unrealistic' economic demands, claim Markussen's promoters.
We are negotiating with others, as the Magee fight fell through, said a spokesman for Markussen, who stopped Coventry's faded Steven Bendall last month (pictured).
The battle will not happen. There have been asked some totally unrealistic demands economically. We have hopefully already Monday a new opponent for Rudy.
